La Talemelerie

Based in the Rhône-Alpes region of France, La Talemelerie is a bakery of 8 shops with a precious name… derived from Old French, La Talemelerie in the Middle Ages meant bakery with the juxtaposition of two names of handcrafted gestures: kneading & mixing (Taler & Mesler). A story was born : La Talemelerie raison d’être is to perpetuate today the handcrafted gestures from the past, bringing quality bread’s tradition to life.

MUTATION
By explaining the name we expressed the craft and reestablished the truth: the story became the identity on some key applications like the shopping bag.
We designed a quality seal with a monogram to communicate the hand-made signature.
This project has won a reddot award in brands & communication design.
